Structured, Hands-On Education
Physician Program
Offered virtually or in person, the BioProtect training program supports urologists, radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists in both academic and community settings. Sessions include a didactic overview, expert-led procedural walk-throughs, and discussion of clinical considerations, best practices, and placement techniques for the BioProtect Balloon Spacer.
Resident Program
To educate tomorrow’s physicians on the value of spacing and the BioProtect Balloon Spacer procedure, BioProtect provides a dedicated training program for residents in radiation oncology, urology, and interventional radiology. These sessions include an educational presentation on the BioProtect Balloon Spacer and, when applicable, hands-on phantom training — empowering future clinicians with practical experience and understanding.
